DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce the NAMI of Lorain County Mini Golf outing has returned!  This year\, our mini golf outing will take place August 3rd\, check in will be 5:30pm.  The 18-hole course is located at Sportsville\, 37500 Center Ridge Rd\, North Ridgeville\, OH 44039.  This event is the primary fundraiser for NAMI of Lorain County. in years’ past\, it has been a great turnout and with a year off\, we expect much the same. \nFor just $25 per person\, participants not only will be playing an 18-hole mini gold course\, in addition\, there will be carnival-style games\, a 50/50 raffle\, and more.  Each participant will have a registration fee of $25\, teams cannot exceed a foursome. \nIf you are interested\, give us a call at 440-258-7062 or complete this form and we will contact you. \n

Broadway\, Lorain OH 44052. \nNAMI Basics is a weekly 6-session education program for parents\, caregivers and other family who provide care for youth (ages 22 and younger) who are experiencing mental health symptoms. This program is free to participants\, 99% of whom say they would recommend the program to others. \nThis in-person course is taught by a trained team with lived experience raising a child with a mental health condition. They know what you’re going through because they’ve been there too. To register or inquire call NAMI at 440-240-8477 or email office@nami-lc.org. \nNAMI Basics not only provides information and strategies for taking care of the person you love\, but you’ll also find out that you’re not alone. \nThe group setting of NAMI Basics provides mutual support and shared positive impact—experience compassion and reinforcement from people who understand your situation.
